Listening to Major League Baseball

Major League Baseball has been very aggressive with their online streaming efforts -- and that's great for baseball fans. You can listen to every major league baseball game online -- with the voices of the broadcast teams from either home or away ball clubs. So if you're out of your home town, you can hear your hometown announcers call the play-by-play for your favorite team. There are even full schedules of spanish language broadcasts.

In addition to the audio, MLB also streams most games by video -- although they do black out occasional games on video due to TV contracts.

Getting your games will not be free -- but the leagues allow you to choose the type of plan you want, including a monthly pass or full season pass. Then, you'll be able to login anytime, anywhere from any computer with a browser and streaming audio/video software (such as Windows Media Player or Real Player).
